Hi guys... my boss is trying to get me to switch a several year long cvs project to svn.

Do I have anything to worry about or will all the versions basically merge into svn perfectly ?

We have a small team (2 developers) so the atomic commits and other features of SVN wont help much, but she wants me to switch just because some newer bug tracking tools use svn and not cvs.

Haven't used it myself (we switched from pvcs to svn), but there's a cvs2svn conversion script.

The ability to move and/or rename files without loosing their history should be great even for a single developer.
