Can you run IBM RAD on less then a gig of RAM?

i have around 756 on my laptop, and I can run Eclipse and Netbeans fine. I know RAD has some added features and stuff but is it that intensive? The IBM site says you need 1 gig ram minimum.

I have about 1.25 GB of memory and RAD is tediously slow sometimes. Mostly startup things, like it takes about 30 seconds the first time I open a JSP. You may find it intolerable on your machine (or alternatively you may get a lot more Solitaire games played). There's a document available from IBM (sorry I don't have a link) that tells you what to configure if you want to speed things up.
