please help me how we can accept system property through command line argument in eclipes.

"Write a command-line Java program which accepts one string argument and a system property called 'char.index'."

I am using Eclipse IDE.

Hi Madhavi,

After you are done coding the program in Eclipse you need to create a runtime application instance to run your program. In that you can specify the command line argument to be used while running the program.

Please note to start the system properties with -Dxx

Like -Dapp.config="c:\app.properties"

Hope this helps,
