This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
I'm looking forward to find out if there is any possibility to generate UML class diagram from existing java source code automatically. I use Eclipse as IDE tool and I came to know that it is possible using this tool. But I don't know how. Tried to search internet and found some commercial plugins but I wonder if Eclipse.org is giving any extension.
Please feel free to share your knowledge in this regard.
In IRAD, which is based on Eclipse, you have the option to create a class diagram. It is under the 'modelling' section. From there, you just drag Java code onto the model, and the UML is created. It's pretty kewl.
There is a thing called Omondo, which can be used as a plugin to Eclipse and will create UML from class files. I have tried it and it did work, only my classes were so big I had to do lots of dragging to fit the UML onto the screen!
