Position:Java Architect � Vignette Experience
Location:Anywhere in the United States

Consulting Company with corporate offices in the Houston area searching for Java Architects with Vignette experience. Searching for the following skills:

� Consultant experience is a plus.
� 2+ years experience in Java with Java related technologies and tools
� Experienced in Vignette Content Management (VCM) V6 and V7.
� Experienced in full life cycle software development implementations.
� Must have experience leading systems architecture projects as a Consultant in all phases of the full life cycle implementation.
� Experienced developing a web portal.
� Skills in design, integration, coding, quality, testing, deployment, risk determination, migration, project management, mentoring, presentations, business analysis and solving multiple problems at a given time.
� Customer service focused including figuring out customer�s needs and valued-added opportunities for the company.
� College degree in Computer Science and/or related experience.
� Must have excellent communication skills with internal/external customers, different business units and upper management.

Special Requirements:
� This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a unique business model. Candidate must be open to a flexible work schedule, which will require them to be on-call to go to a client site anywhere in the United States. Company will pay all expenses.
� Some projects are short term while others could last a couple months. While between projects, candidate will not be paid during down times.
� If candidate does well and both parties are happy, there is an opportunity for the candidate to become a permanent employee after 2 months.
� Candidate does not need to relocate from their home town.
