friends while installing net beans im gettin an error "A suitable jvm could not be found please run again using the option -is:javahome<JAVA HOME DIR>"

plzz help out

Which version of NetBeans are you using? Which version of the JDK do you have installed? Newer versions of NetBeans require newer JDK versions; make sure your JDK is not too old.

If you know that you have a suitable JVM installed, just do what the error message says...

i'm using netbeans 4-1 and version of im using is 1.4

I looked up NetBeans 4.1 and it said it required at least Java 5 (jdk1.5.0_00).
