Hi,

Does IDEA7 support JMaki? Its an Ajax framework that provides a lightweight model for creating JavaScript centric Ajax-enabled web applications using Java. Its like a drag and drop of widgets in IDE. Currently only NetBeans 5.5 and Eclipse has support for this feature.

Hello Anil,

You can use IntelliJ IDEA to develop jMaki applications, and IntelliJ IDEA's superior JavaScript and CSS support will be of much use for this. However, we don't provide any WYSIWYG design tool for jMaki applications.

Thanks Dmitry. Is WYSIWYG design tool going to be released in future releases?
Can someone contribute plug-in code for IDEA? Thanks.

Hello Anil,

We don't currently have any plans to implement a WYSIWYG design tool specifically for jMaki. However, this could be provided by a third-party plugin.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
