I have a Eclipse 3.0 and have some workspace and projects created already. Suppose I want to install a newer version of Eclipse 3.3, when I open Eclipse 3.3 all those existing workspace and projectes that were created with Eclipse 3.0 should still be there, right ?

Second question -- what if I use the new Eclipse 3.3. to create a new workspace and new projects, then when I use Eclipse 3.0, can I see it too ?

Mark,
Going from Eclipse 3 to 3.3 will definitely work. Going the other way might or might not. It depends on the differences between versions and if you are using any new features.

In the past, I several times went back to earlier versions of Eclipse without any problems - most often from a current milestone build to a stable build. That's not a guarantee that it will always work, of course.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
