I am experiencing a problem when launching and shutting down Eclipse.
The error messages are:

Problems occurred while trying to save the state of the workbench.

Could not write workspace metadata 'C:/eclipse/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.root/269.tree'.

Sometimes the Eclipse even shows some deleted breakpoints also.
The Eclipse vesion I am using is: 3.3.1.
The O/S is: WindowsXP

How can I fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

That almost always indicates that your disk is full.

If it isn't, check to see that somehow your security/readonly rights didn't get mis-set

An IDE is no substitute for an Intelligent Developer.
