I am experiencing a problem when launching and shutting down Eclipse.
The error messages are:
Problems occurred while trying to save the state of the workbench.
Could not write workspace metadata 'C:/eclipse/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.root/269.tree'.
Sometimes the Eclipse even shows some deleted breakpoints also.
The Eclipse vesion I am using is: 3.3.1.
The O/S is: WindowsXP
How can I fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

That almost always indicates that your disk is full.
If it isn't, check to see that somehow your security/readonly rights didn't get mis-set
Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
It is sorta covered in the
JavaRanch Style Guide
subject: Eclipse Workbench problem
"Could not create the view: Plug-in org.eclipse.jdt.ui was unable to load class" error. Please help
Eclipse: "Unable to read workbench state , workbench UI layout will be reset."
Help! problem while running ejbc from command line
