Hi All

There are memory leak problem in my application(Java Application).I want to know the best freeware tool for detect where is memory leak (Any kind) by using .
OS:windows XP
Plateform:java

Hi John,

What IDE are you using? Eclipse for example comes with a memory profiler.

Hi John,

You should be able to use the one in Eclipse then, it's part of the TPTP platform (a series of separate plug-ins that you'll need to install).

See Their webpage for details (make sure you install the right version for your eclipse).

There are also some tools included with the JDK: JConsole (I think it was added in JDK 5) and now also VisualVM, which was added in JDK 6 update 7 (you can also download it separately if you're using an older Java version).
