This position requires technical depth in the development of Java based enterprise-class server software and sufficient breadth of interest to take on other tasks to supply core services to the platform.
Qualifications 4+ years industry experience, including experience shipping software products Object oriented design skills proven in at least one complex product; Java experience good. Experience with socket communications, network protocols, and distributed computing Server performance and scalability engineering experience, including the ability to plan performance tests and interpret results, and experience with caching, memory management, threading, lock management, and I/O optimization. Knowledge of Inversion of Control systems Experience in fast paced development environment Ability to estimate and schedule development work Proven dedication to software quality and familiarity with software testing methodologies Success Factors Interest and experience in requirements analysis and the software product design cycle Takes initiative in testing, designing, communicating, and improving process Consistent productivity Excellent communication skills
