JOB RESPONSIBILITY: =================== Key areas of responsibility include:
� Directly responsible for selling software products and services in the Asia Pacific region, with direct responsibility to generate revenues from new and existing customers. � Solidifying relationships with key accounts. � Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets as set by management. � Develop multiple contacts at primary and secondary accounts. � Analyze and manage returns- Focus on customers' priorities and objectives- Understand customers' systems and operational procedures. � Provide account feedback on product, price, competition, and other relevant issues � Ongoing development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps including distributor reps � Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the company � Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. � Conduct weekly progress meetings with sales team. � Evaluate rep performance to motivate and enhance effectiveness. � Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. � Manages a team of telesales representatives for a territory/region. � Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of sales staff. � Manages distributors in the region to leverage business in various countries � Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: ================= � 10+ years of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. � Preferably strong personal computer skills including sales tools such as Siebel, Onyx or any Customer Relationship Management software. � Proven experience selling into life sciences industry. Preferably to Safety, Clinical, Medical Affairs, or Regulatory Affairs areas. � Possess knowledge of computers and software. Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite with better than average skills using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. � Demonstrated ability to manage sales leads. � Familiarity with consultative selling and negotiating techniques, exchanging accurate and relevant information. � Demonstrated skills in executive relationship development and management. � Excellent customer skills and presence as demonstrated by a customer-focused attitude. � High level of skill in verbal and written communications, including professional and confident telephone skills. � Regular travel required including overnight. � Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. � Must demonstrate ability to develop, manage, and execute strategic account plans.
