hi all,
im trying to checkout a doucment that i know exists on my cvs server. Ive tried two ways of connecting to the server but get error messages:
"error=2" something to do with not having cvs 'in the path'. I dont understand what that means...im using an ANT build file from within ecplise to do this.
has anyone come across this error and knows how to fix it AND has anyone got code that they have used successfully to connect to a cvs server.
much appreciated

Hi, I don't know if this helps, but here's some code snippets of one of my ANT scripts for CVS:
<property name="project.home" value="${env.project_home}"/>
<property name="cvs.root" value="${env.cvsroot}" />
.
.
.
<!--Checkout source files from CVS-->
<cvs dest="${project.home}"
cvsroot="${cvs.root}"
tag="blahRelease_1_0"
package="systems/java/projects/blah/src/blahproject"/>

I have seen some errors in the past if your cvsroot directory is not set-up correctly. I do this as an evironment variable, since I have a Perl install script that kicks off my ANT build...
