SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Perform complex Central Systems related software engineering duties following designated standards and procedures, working on own initiative, with minimum supervision and general direction. Perform software engineering duties including the full-range of programming tasks. Problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development integration, test, medication, and documentation. Will also plan and participate in software systems development from inception to completion, to include gaining customer acceptance, and will be involved in defining test schedules and test data requirements. The senior software engineer will join the Java development team working on the NBMS software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BS degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, computer science or other related technical discipline plus five years of experience; or MS degree with at least three years of experience. Experience to include specification, design and development of Java based software systems, using J2EE, and include at least twelve months experience in the development of EJBs. Must also have effective written and oral communication skills, including the use of typical office automation products.
