Target depending on target in another build

Can a target depend on a target from another build xml file? If so, what is the syntax?

You can probably do something like this:

<project name="sample">
 
    <target name="my_external_dependency">
        <!-- call a target in another build script -->
        <ant antfile="another-build.xml" target="thetarget"/>
    </target>
 
    <target name="T1" depends="my_external_dependency">
        <echo>Hello!</echo>
    </target>
 
    <target name="T2" depends="my_external_dependency">
        <echo>Hello!</echo>
    </target>
 
</project>
