Since everyone here has been so nice in helping me in my strugle to learn Java I thought I would post this job here as well as Monster. The person filling this position will be the first (and maybe only) java developer in the company so it's a big position.


Description
J2EE/Weblogic/Web Services Java developer to develop the Business, Data, and Presentation tiers.

The applications developed/supported will incorporate multitiered distributed application model developed
under the J2EE architecture. The candidate should have thorough understanding and extensive experience in
designing/developing EJB's (Session, Entity and Message Driven Beans) containing business rules and data
access constructs (SQL), calling async Web Services/SOAP (JAX-RPC) , JSP , custom tags libraries, building
deployment descriptors, packaging/deploying the components, troubleshooting configuration in a BEA Weblogic environment.

Ideal candidate should also have an understanding of best practices of how to access data in J2EE environment. Strong GUI
design and development skills using HTML, JAVAscripts, CSS and JSP's. Must be able to document and follow up on
identified changes and modifications to design documents. Be able to educate and explain solutions to non J2EE programmers
and staff.

The candidate should have extensive experience with the following technologies

Skills/Experience:
J2EE, EJB, JPS, JMS, JDBC, JNDI, XML, SQL, HTML, CSS, Web Services
