I am new to ant & was wondering if you would recommend using it as a simple method to transfer files via SFTP to a remote location.

Any links to useful resources would also be much appeciated.

I've always used the <scp/> task myself:

Thank you for the suggestion.

How does this differ from the Sshexec optional task? Also, what relevance does the SFTP client/server being used have on the method used to invoke the transfer?

Thanks again.
