Hi,

I am in the deployment process of Websphere commerce applications. We are using Websphere commerce version 6. I would like to know 2 things.

1. How to stop and start the server using jacl
2. How to invoke Jacl scripts from ant.

Pls direct with solution.

I've got a bunch of JACL scripts on my website. Some are complex, and some are simple:

Here's a cluster bounce. A server bounce is practically the same, except you'll use your server name. I think your server is named server1:

set clusterName FrekinCluster

puts stdout "\nWe are about to stop the cluster named: $clusterName"

set clusterId [$AdminControl completeObjectName type=Cluster,name=$clusterName,*]

puts stdout "\n\n ClusterId is: $clusterId"
puts stdout "\n\n Stopping cluster"
$AdminControl invoke $clusterId stop

puts stdout "\n\n Starting cluster"
$AdminControl invoke $clusterId start

puts stdout "\n\n Cluster successfully bounced."

Cheers!

The same way you would run them on the command line. Use Ant's exec task with your command line call.
