Hi,
I just wanted to know how I could use ant with smartCVS. I want to know if there is a way to know what the modified or updated files are and build only those files? I came to know that it could be done by using checksum, but I am not sure if it is correct or not.
Can any body please let me know how to configure ant with smartCVS and work around with the problem.
Thanks,
Samanth.

As far as I can tell, smartCVS is a CVS client? What I can't tell is what that had to do with Ant at all. Ant comes with CVS tasks, but there is no use for third party cvs clients in Ant scripts, as far as I can tell.

Regarding building only modified files - if you are talking about compiling java files here, Ant is already doing that automatically per default. It simply compares the last modified time stamp if the java files with those of the class files.
