Linux Partition Problem

Hi!
I have windows 98 installed as OS. I also want to install RedHat 6.2 without removing win98. I have 4.2GB Hard disk with primary partition of 2.1 GB and extended partition of 2.1 GB. I want to Install Linux in extended partition, but when I try to use fips to split the extended partition it gives me error that it can't split extended partition.
How can I install Linux without removing or fromatting the Harddisk?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
