Trying to kill AMOR

Somebody please save my bacon! I accidentally clicked on AMOR (Amusing Misuse of Resources for any that aren't familiar with it). Now it runs every time I start a session. I need to get rid of this thing before it kills me. I looked in etc/profile, ~/.bash_profile, and ~/.bashrc. No dice. Does anyone know where this application is getting started?

Surprisingly, I tried AMOR on my RH Linux 7.1 and no problem occured to me: Everytime I logout out of the KDE session and start it again, AMOR is no longer alive. And you can close it by clicking on the character and choosing "quit".
The almost only way for a program to run everytime you start Linux is to modify the /etc/init directory or /etc/inittab. I don't think that can be the case.
So, an ultimate way is to move the binary /usr/bin/amor out of the PATH. The whole AMOR files are located in /usr/share/apps/amor and /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/amor. Take a look if needed.
BTW, /etc/profile, ~/.bashrc, ~/bash_profile only contains stuff like env parameters and aliases.

I really wanted to post this in Meaningless Drivel, but the board system is simply not having any more new topics today. Alas, since this is the topic that inspired my silliness, I'll just jot it here for now, link to it from MD later on.

Laudney Ren, thanks for the tip. I'll take a look at etc/init and etc/inittab. I can right-click and choose quit, but when I restart KDE and login as Bodie again, AMOR is back! I hate that freakin' thing!
Michael, you know, it's funny that you should mention that. I've heard a number of those before. Sadly, they come up more often that you might think in casual conversation. One amusing misuse that wasn't listed is the Boadster. I actually registered a URL for it (boadster.com) but haven't built the site yet.

I just got a reply from the incident that I logged on Mandrake's site. It turned out that I had been running AMOR in a session that I saved back in November. All I had to do was kill it and resave my session. Unbelieveable!

Hey Bodie -
I've heard enough of 'The Importance of Being Earnest' to last me a while, too. All intended in good fun, of course.

Naturally! Sorry about the Wilde thing. I used to get a lot of Grodie Bodie in school ( I was in school in the 80's ). I used to hate my name, but now I like it. After all, I don't get a lot of, "Bodie who?"
