Hi Ranchers, I've just started Unix/Linux as my engr. course.Well in first class our instructor told that those who are interested in Networks should study Unix/Linux deeply. But i am not interseted in Networks any more. However i want to learn Unix/Linux basics that how to operate them.I've done SCJP and want to connect my programming with Linux/Unix.How can i do that?.And yes is there any good tutorial on Unix/Linux?. Bye. Viki.

The net is full of information on Linux and Unix. For Linux, I would start at the LDP site (Linux Documentation Project). http://www.linuxdoc.org/ That should give you material enough to start. HTH, Joe
