Installing J2SDKse/ee as packages even if not RPM?

Hi All,
is it possible to use rpm or the KDE or GNU package managers to install a tarball of J2SDKee as if it was an RPM? I've got J2SDKse in there because it came as a .rpm.
Thanks
Adam

I have seen things you people would not believe, attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, c-beams sparkling in the dark near the Tennhauser Gate. All these moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.

Not really. All you can do is install the J2EE SDK from the tarball on a "clean" machine, then build a RPM from that, but it's not a turn-the-handle process. Or you can look around and/or wait until you find someone else who has done that.
