Well, I think this depends on the type of certification you are going for. There are quite a number of certifications out there and each one has its own requirements. I would suggest that you visit the websites for the specific cert you want to take.. and you will certainly find detailed information about the requirements. Herbert

It depends on your background. If you are a hardware person, do the Linux+ certification. I recomment getting the LPI certification for software people. There are two exams for LPI and it's not monstrously difficult. On the other Red Hat Certificaton IS. (monstrously difficult). Chances are quite that you won't pass it on the first attempt, unless of course you are a power Red Hat user, in which case you REALLY don't need the certification. Mahtew

RHCE Exam costs around 6000Rs. in India. You can opt for their course material and training. There are several RedHat authorized Training centers which help you. For further information try this site if you are in India. Good luck, Keerthi
