I'm a greenhand at linux and have some questions:
1.I run the shell of the jbuilder7,no response.
2.I get the weblogic6.1 sp3 for red hat 7.2,but
don't know how i can install it.
Where can I get these information about java in
linux?

Can you explain in a little more detail what you have done so far? Just saying that you tried something and got "no response" doesn't really help us in answering your questions.
As for installing WebLogic, what documentation, readme files and so on came with it? Were there any installation istructions on the web site/CD or whatever that you got it from ? What format is the installation file (rpm, sh, bin etc.) ?
Please help us to help you.

I have installed it sucessfully and I
type sh $JBUILDER_HOME/bin/jbuilder in
terminal window,nothing happens!
I have installed two jdk,one is 1.4(from sun)
and the other is 1.3(installed with jbuilder)
1.4 is good and can compiles and runs.
When I type $JAVA_HOME/bin/java,also nothing
happens!
Why??
