I'm not sure if the terminology is right or not but is there a way in Unix to call a file (say AAA) that actually points to and references another file (say BBB). So that anything sent to AAA will actually be stored in BBB (and vice-versa with reading from)? Thanks for any help you guys can give. (robert@wisl.com) Rob
Try the 'ln' command. You can create either hard links or symbolic links to files, in the form of directories, binaries etc. Type 'man ln' at the prompt for more details.
