Hi I have already done a java code using COMM API to Dial the other system using modem
and transfered the file across the other end (windows based) COM ports
I need to develop the same in Linux.
1. I use internal modem so its uses /dev/modem which is linked to /dev/ttyHSF0
2. wat i did is linked modem to ttyS2 (ln -s ttyS2 modem)
3. and used ttyS2 to dial.
4. It worked fine but wat happened was during the next time of dialing it gets stuck.
And the modem doesnt respond.
5.I need to know whether its bcoz of IRQ's shared or some other probs?
Can anybody help me pls and let me know how to find a solution to this?
