Hi! everyone, I am trying to install oracle on linux through exceed xwindow's session . I am getting following error...................
/tmp/OraInstall2004-02-24_12-01-06PM/jre/bin/i386/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. Any idea what's going wrong?? Please help ASAP. thx SA :roll:

I did the same install last week and I ran into the same problem. You need to install compat-libstdc++-devel- compat-gcc- compat-libstdc++- compat-gcc-c++- This should help
