I would like to know the UNIX version release history

For example...
xxx version - released in xxx month, xxx year..

I am not sure what do you mean by Unix versions.
UNIX / LINUX have N number of flavours with N * M number of Kernels and versions.

If you google it, you can get version history of early days UNIX ( Released by by Berkley Univ. or Bell Labs, etc.).

One of the best places to get Unix history is Groklaw, since they put together extensive timelines to demonstrate that SCO's lawsuits were full of <censored>.
