Hi, friends i have just started using red hat linux 9.0.I have a intel(soundmax) sound card.i installed the alsa driver for it.when try to set the volume using aumix the following message is displayed---
error opening mixer
it would be a great ,if somebody provide some help as iam a bit new to linux
