klipper rocks!

I was just now typing a reply to a thread, and before I pressed "Add Reply", the thread was moved. I was able to back up and copy the text, but before I could find the new copy and paste it, I fat-fingered the mouse and ended up with some other garbage in the clipboard. Grrr. <ellen_feiss>It was a good reply, and my computer ate it. Beep beep beep beep! Bummer. I would have to type it all in again, and it wouldn't be as good.</ellen_feiss>

Something made me think of "klipper", the little clipboard icon on the KDE taskbar. I've never actually used it for anything. But I clicked on it and it had the last half-a-dozen things I've copied still in there, including the text of my post; so I was able to grab it and post what I had written. That thing rocks!

My name is Ernest Friedman-Hill, and I'm a sheriff.

Oh yeah!
I was missing the special Cntl+Shift+v (special paste) in Intellij Idea, which keeps a history of recent copy's, until I discovered Klipper
