Help Me! stuck on AIX 5.3 installation

spent past two days trying to install AIX 5.3 on RS/6000 7043-150. But it hangs on the installation CD volume 1. The box can boot from CD but stops at:

I updated the firmware to the latest TPC05287 and the 32X CD-ROM(97H7610) Microcode to 1_03 also, but still could not get it to work. It has no problem on AIX 5.1 installation.
If you have any solutions or bright ideas please let me know.

got it to work. Used a numb modem cable and hyperterminal.
