I want to generate .o first, then executable or shared library (.so).
I can produce a shared library (.so) by using makefile. However, when I tried to generate .o first, then .so, I encountered many multi-definition errors, a long list! Don't know why.
Can some makefile experts explain possible "why" or provide me a relative complicated with multi-directory inter-dependencies makefile example? C or C++
One file, not the VC or Eclipse generated 25 files or more. BTW, I am on Linux.
Huge Thanks!!!
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
