Hi guys. I have completed SCJP and SCWCD. I want to explore Linux. I want to get Linux certification because i will be more committed to study. I have decided to take CompTIA Linux+. Anyone Please clarify my doubts.
1. I have decided to use LiveCD. Is this enough to learn Linux and study for certification?
2. What is the best book to start studying Linux and any good exam guide for this exam.
3. Any useful links/forums/online material for this exam.

Thanks in Advance for your replies.

Hi Rohitt, how familiar with Linux are you currently? If you are very new I would suggesting using the Linux distro Knoppix which can be found at http://www.knoppix.org/. It is a very powerful Linux distro that runs off of CD and is based on debian.

Also one other thing you might want to check out is the Linux Distribution Chooser at http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/ . It is supposed to help you pick the Linux distro that is best for you.
