Does *-i386.rpm work on a 64 bit Linux RHEL4 ?

uname -a displays x86_64 in the output.

Thanks

Yes it does, though you should always select the 64-bit version if you can.

The 64-bit versions of Linux are designed to mix the 64-bit and older (32-bit) Linux apps and libraries as transparently as possible.
