Suse Linux Disabling sendmail

I would want to disable sendmail service on my linux box, in my init.d directory i have /etc/init.d/fetchmail, I have tried using the command /fetchmail stop but its not stopping, How do i make sure the service does'nt start up when i reboot my machine

On Fedora I would do (as root)


To disable automatic startup on all runlevels, I would do


I'v never user SUSE, but you can try these commands anyway.
