should scjp go for RHCE?

Well,I am scjp , I am interested in RHCE and CEH (certified ethical hacker),
that means security field too. Is Java good language for Security field or
I have to learn advanced C in any case for that.

one more question , how Java would be good for Cisco(CCNP,CCSP)field.? or it's not like that.?

please help me decide.

I think knowledge in Java isn't important for RHCE, Solaris, CCNA/CCNP. But if you like Linux, RHCE is a good one, but it seems to be very specific to RedHat. You can also try LPI. I heard both are quite tough. I plan to give myself a shot next time if the time permits

I love OS too but I dislike hardware.
So we both will go for RHCE and LPI.
