Kforce has secured a client who is looking to expand their team by adding a Java / J2EE / C++ Developer and are interested in the following skills:
Java/C++ Software Engineer for a long term project located in Colorado Springs, CO. Consultant will be working on a number of enterprise software applications adding new functionality and porting existing applications written in C++ to Java/J2EE platforms. The current systems are scaleable but do not meet the performance requirements going forward. Developers will focus on developing Java, J2EE, EJB, WebLogic and WebSphere Application Server middle tiers. The combination of C++ and Java is required. The C++ is needed for understanding current code in the existing systems and port it over to Java, J2EE, WebLogic. Qualified candidate must be able to design and document how a system should work for developers and other users to understand the system. Must have the ability to understand an existing application and make modifications within the exiting framework.
�3-5 Years Enterprise Java Development including (EJB�s, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JNDI, etc.)
�Experience with WebLogic or WebSphere Java Application Servers.
�2-4 Years C++ development experience.
�Previous experience working with and knowledge of GUI, middle tier, and Server programming.
�Experience with JDBC/SQL and the database access layer (Hibernate is a plus)
