Hi.
I noted that the headset connection in my Laptop (running Ubuntu 7.10) isn't working.
The sound still get out laptop speaker.
Any ideas?

Try posting this in the Ubuntu forums (with more detailed information: explain exactly what brand and model your laptop is), you'll be much more likely to get an answer quickly there.

I had that problem with a different distro, downloading the most packages from the ALSA web site and installing those solved my problem. Actually I had to download the beta drivers.
