Hi,
I am using RHEL5 on production environment with jboss/tomcat as application server.
i have done some hardening of Linux i.e disable unwanted service, ping disable . Can anyone please guide me Linux Hardening/Securing method in detail.

Have you taken a look at the RHEL 5 Documentation (there's a security link on that page)?
You exact configuration will depend on your requirements (you can't block port 80 on a web server, but you could on a FTP server)
