Hi Gaurav,
Since this is a JavaRanch forum, you will most likely see discussions here about using Java and related technologies on a Mac rather than general Apple/Mac discussions. There are plenty of other forum sites available for that (one I frequent is macosx.com).
That said, I've been trying to convince my boss that I need a G5 for development, but he sees right through me. Drat!
I do have an iMac-DV in my office (the only Mac in the building) to test my web application under OS X, but my active development environment is on a Windoze box. Sigh. (Now what I use at home is a completely different story).

G5's don't hit our shores (the UK) until August sometime. Are they released in the US yet?

We can order one, but they're not shipping yet.
Not a problem for me really -- it'll be a long time before I can save up the scratch for one of those. But I shouldn't lament, my G4 dualie is a very nice machine and suits my needs admirably.
