This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a java program that runs fine on my WindowsXP machine with Sun JRE 1.4.2, but for some reason people are having trouble running the program with MacOS 10.2.8. The following error, I am told, is occurring:
! JAR LAUNCHER The jar file "harmony.jar" couldn't be launched.
I don't know a thing about MacOS, but I would love to make sure that my program will work on it. The program is available from here.
Try java -jar harmony.jar from the command line and see what error message it says. If it says java:Command not found then the Java classpath has not been set. [ November 11, 2004: Message edited by: venkatraman kandaswamy ]
