Does a Mac with Apache, Tomcat, and MySQL make a good Web Server? At $500, a Mac mini might make a nice little web server.

While my own server on a PowerMac G4 doesn't get any really large amount of traffic to thoroughly test the supposition, I can't think of any reason that such a system would not be an excellent server -- assuming it's connected via a sufficiently "wide" bandwidth pipe.

I haven't run Tomcat, but I run an Apache/PHP/MySQL site on an 800 kbps connection and it is limited by bandwidth, not by the machine. I do recommend lots of memory.
