Fitts' Law and Infinite Width
Believe it or not, it took me something like 10 minutes to find the menu bar for Safari when I first booted up my macbook pro!
I have totally gotten used to it now, but never really tried to find out why Mac OS chose to have a single menu bar at top. Reading about Fitts's law today finally cleared up the mystery.
