I'm not really sure where to post this question. I want to try the K&B Mock Exam that is found in the CD included in the SCJP Guide Book. But the CD is for Windows only. Any way I can try the K&B Mock exams?

There's actually a couple ways of running Windows from a Mac, assuming you've got one with that IBM dual-core processor thingy. I run Bootcamp on my Mac when I need Windows. There's also something called Parallels but I haven't tried it personally.

Or VMWare Fusion. These days, a Macintosh is the most versatile machine as it can run all three of the mainstream consumer operating systems.

Unfortunately you'd have to use one of those O/S emulators like the ones listed above. We've been working with the publisher to create an exam engine that runs across platforms (hmmm, what's a language that runs across platforms?), but we haven't worked out a deal yet.

I see. I was hoping that the release of the SCJP 6 book will include a CD that will run on any platforms. But as you've said I'd probably stick with the SCJP 5 and try the emulators. Thank you very very much for all your replies!
