GWT and the Mac

So while on vacation and waiting for the new house to be ready, I've been doing a bit of searching online and came across both echo2 and echo3 and gwt. I know they've been out a while but I haven't really looking into nifty stuff.

Anyway, using gwt is kind of a pain as for as the applicationCreator and projectCreator go. What I'd very much like to do is either make a script to execute them or make them into bash commands.

Currently I have to go to the GWT home directory and do something like
./applicationCreator -eclipse <namestuff> -out <the directory I'd like them to go to>
but what I really want to do is
applicationCreator -eclipse <namestuff> and be in the directory I want them to be in already by navigating there in terminal.

Any suggestions?

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that at some time, some where, some place, someone once said to themselves "I'd really like to set those people on fire over there, but I just can't get close enough".

Add it to the PATH? Create an alias? Move it to one of the system bin folders? Choose one.

(That said, some programs are written badly and can only work when the cd is set just so. Hope this isn't one of them.)

Haven't tried adding it to the path but...

trying to set an alias doesn't work at all because in order to invoke projectCreator or applicationCreator requires me to do
./applicationCreator
./projectCreator

And when I copy them to /usr/bin after logging in as the super user in terminal and trying to use them as native bash commands it throws a java error.

Ok, some searching on google shows setting the path using the setenv bash command, but on my mac it doesn't recognize the command.
