Senior Java developer - Server side (JSS3-ONT)

Our client is going through a period of growth and needs exceptional individuals to join its team. Currently the team is working on its next generation 3D visualization and interaction technology and tools.

For this particular role they are looking for a highly articulate software engineer who can mentor those around him/her and become a lead in the server side development effort.

Required experience
Excellent Object Oriented design capabilities and way of thinking.

Must have at least 3+ years of experience with Java back end application design and development; J2EE, EJB, JSP, Struts, Servlets, Java Application Servers, SQL, scalability and integration.

Ideally the candidate will show previous knowledge/experience of Java front end application design and development

Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a self-directed manner

Must be organized, systematic, and goal-oriented with a solid understanding of the entire software development life-cycle.

It would be highly desirable for the candidate to have experience in any of the following;
Ability to create UML architectural designs
Experience with, or a deep interest in, developing content or digital assets management type systems or developing (either commercial or personal) 3D graphics, games or similar applications would be useful
