Hi, I'm creating a series of drop-down list boxes and I would like them all to be the same width - that is, all of them to display to a length of 20 characters even though the longest option is 10 for some of the list boxes. Is there anyway to set the width of drop-down list boxes? I know about SIZE to set the number of rows displayed. Any help gratefully received - thanks in advance! Kathy
No, this is a common problem. The best you can do is to add white space to one of your entries to make it longer. What I have done is when the default is blank or something like "Select below" I add white space to that entry to push it out. But this is never exact, I just get it as close as possible on both browsers. So it looks something like this:
Hope that helps, Bill [This message has been edited by bill bozeman (edited January 04, 2001).]

Thanks, Bill - I think I'll leave putting all those spaces in until tomorrow - can't wait to come into work! Btw - congratulations - you must have had a hectic holiday! Kathy

Thanks Kathy. It was pretty busy, but it was great also. Plus my two other boys love the new one, so I am real happy and relieved. I was a little worried at first. Bill
