A large Corporation is looking for Java Developer. This is a publicly traded company with 2,300+ employees and had net income of $24+ million for 3rd Qtr 2004.
The company is in the process of re-architecting a large enterprise scale Internet Billing Application for an n-tier environment. The Internet Billing Application supports CH type payments and interfaces with two 3rd party vendors and an internal legacy system. The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for the design and new development of the presentation layer and middle tier/business logic layer of the new enterprise Internet Billing system. The Internet Billing Application is based on the Struts framework and MVC design pattern and is being built using the J2EE framework. The Sr Java developer will utilize full life cycle development methodologies. The company uses IBM�s Visual Age for development on NT, utilizes JSP for the presentation layer, creates and re-creates EJB�s and Java Servlets on the business logic layer, deploys EJB�s and Servlets on WebSphere�s Application Server v4.x running on AIX with Oracle on the backend. The Internet Billing Application communicates with a legacy mainframe system utilizing IBM�s MQ Series. Company will be upgrading to WebSphere v5.0 and web-services.
