Hi, I need to hide controls in my HTML page. I'm able to achieve this in IE browser using 'document.all.elemntID.style.visibility = hidden' for that control but not in Netscape 4.75 as NN doesnt support 'style' property. How do I go about doing the same in Netscape 4.75?? Thanking u in advance Aman
Hi, Which controls are you trying to hide? If you want to remove whole toolbars etc, you can open a new window without them using.... window.open("page_address.html", "title", "height=500,width=500,toolbars=no,resize=no") Is this what you wanted?? Terry
Hi aman, Try this out ... window.toolbar.visible=false; window.menubar.visible=false; I m also trying the same thing. But I was successful in doing it in Mozilla only. Couldn't find any solution for IE and NETSCAPE. Please let me know if u get a sol ....
As you you have probably seen, Netscape and IE are very different. One of the differences is the visiblilty issue. For netscape to hide something you must do: document.all.elementID.visibility = hide/show for IE: document.all.elementID.style.visibility = hidden/visible I think this is how it works, if you have any problems then I probably told you a lie. Sorry/You're welcome in advance!
